ELNA CO., LTD was founded in 1929 as Honda Seisakusho. In 2014, we entered into a capital and business alliance with TAIYO YUDEN CO., LTD., and have been developing, manufacturing, and selling aluminum electrolytic capacitors and electric double layer capacitors as a wholly owned subsidiary of TAIYO YUDEN CO., LTD. since 2019.

Expanding our business globally, ELNA focuses on the development of capacitors that excel in vibration resistance, moisture-proof, endurance, and high and low temperature resistance, which are particularly important in the automotive and industrial equipment markets, while maintaining high quality and performance even in harsh environments. We contribute to society by supporting the evolution of electronics technology, which is indispensable for one's safe, secure, comfortable, and convenient living, through the speedy provision of highly reliable products that match customer needs via our outstanding technological capabilities.

As a member of the TAIYO YUDEN Group, ELNA will promote the five-year "Medium-Term Management Plan 2025," starting in 2021, with the goal of enhancing corporate value through both economic and social value.
